Rules for using SchoolPilot
These terms cover the public website and SchoolPilot software accounts. They are written in plain language for school administrators. Last updated 8 September 2026.
Agreement
By browsing https://school-pilot.org or creating a school account you agree to these terms and the privacy policy. If you register on behalf of a school, you confirm you are authorised to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not create an account or enter student data.
Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate registration details and keep credentials confidential. You may not attempt to access another school’s tenant, scrape private student data, probe the service for vulnerabilities without permission, or use SchoolPilot to send unlawful, abusive or spam content.
Schools are responsible for the accuracy of data they enter and for obtaining any consents required for student, parent and staff records. Role-based access is a product feature; assigning an administrator login to someone who should not see fees or HR is a school policy decision, not a SchoolPilot defect.
Trials, subscriptions and billing
Published pricing describes current software plans in PKR. Trials, invoices and payment proof workflows are part of the product. Failure to pay may lock the school portal as implemented in billing. Prices may change for new terms; we will not silently convert a child’s tuition into a SchoolPilot invoice.
The subscription is for the software. It is not an examination board affiliation, a payment network for parents, or a guarantee that a specific local bank or mobile-wallet rail is enabled. Schools collect family fees through the methods they already trust; the ERP records status.
School data and intellectual property
SchoolPilot branding, the web application, mobile apps and documentation are proprietary. You may not copy the product, remove notices, or resell access as if you were the vendor.
Schools retain rights in the content they upload, subject to the licence needed to host, back up and display it in the product. Student lists, marks and fee balances belong to the school’s tenant. They are not published on marketing pages and are not intended for search-engine indexing.
Availability and limitation
The software is provided as a cloud service. We aim for reliable access and use HTTPS, role-based permissions, backups and audit logs, but we do not warrant uninterrupted availability or that the service will be error-free. Planned maintenance and third-party outages can affect login, email or push delivery.
We are not your school’s registrar, accountant, lawyer or examination board. Marks, attendance codes and fee policies remain the school’s responsibility. To the extent allowed by law, SchoolPilot is not liable for lost profits, exam-board consequences, or decisions made from data the school entered incorrectly.
Termination and contact
You may stop using the service and request account questions via WhatsApp from the contact page. We may suspend or terminate access for unpaid invoices, abuse, or legal risk. After termination, retention of backups follows the privacy policy and any statutory duty that applies.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Pakistan unless a written contract with your school says otherwise. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest still apply. For product questions that are not legal disputes, start with a trial or a WhatsApp message rather than assuming a feature exists because a competitor advertises it.
